Very rude when trying to get assistance

I am a first time mom planning on having my son at Linmed, as my gynae was on leave and I like to plan and prep ahead of time I decided to call And enquire about the list we receive when coming to hospital to have the baby in order for me to start obtaining what is needed every month as opposed to a me dash right at the end of my pregnancy. After going through 3 departments and 3 lovely ladies I ended up at what I can guess is where you would normally do your bed bookings and was greeted by an extremely rude woman (who I wish I had gotten the name of had she told me what it was) who very rudely informed me that it's given out when booking a bed and who is my doctor because he should have booked me in, when I informed her I was just enquiring in order to be prepared she told me well you get it when you bring a letter from your doctor stating you are having the baby and that's it.. To me this attitude is disgusting and as a first time mom it is extremely off putting to think that people with that attitude may deal with me and my new baby. Why is it possible for some of your hospitals to provide a list online of what is needed while the rest of us have to deal with this? Disgusted!!
