I gave birth at alberlito hospital on 3 September 2013 by ceaserian section. I am extremely disappointed with the horrible service I received. I was given strong pain killers throughout the day and night. The nurses during the night refused to assist me with my new born
on the 5th September. The baby constantly cried and being a first time mother I called for a nurse. I only got a response after almost 40 minutes and when I enquired why are they not responding to patients, the sister was rude and said that they are short staffed and she would come back later to assist. She said that I should handle the baby so long and she put the baby to sleep on my stomach yet I had a ceaser. I was on strong medication for the pain after my Ceasar
And was extremely drowsy, knowing that she still insisted I take care of the baby. I then rang for assistance after a long time and she later came to me and complained when I asked to take the baby to the nursery, she said she already had another baby at the nursery to take care of. She refused take the baby and only took the baby after another nurse came. It was a horrible experience and the sister was very unprofessional.
