Wrong info given now i sit with R2100 bill

I recently emailed Rishana Singh in the executive office to enquire as to what benefits i will still be entitled to once my abive threshold benefity has been depleted. She responded on 17 December 2013 stating:
"You will still have access to the Insured Network Benefit (INB) which will cover you for unlimited GP consultations at a network GP and unlimited pathology at a network provider."
Subsequent to this information given hby her, i went to my GP on 19 Dec who requested blood tests. I patiently waited at Dischem for the nurse to take the blood to comply with the network provider as per Rishana's email.
To my surprise, i receive an email from discovery stating that they did not pay a cent.
I called the contact centre and was informed that i am not entitled to "blood benefits" once i am through my abive threshold. Seeing that Rishana confirmed that I have this benefit, please ensure that the account for the bloods are paid in full as soon as possible
