I am extremely dissatisfied with the service that I've received from Discovery. I've been calling your customer service line for three weeks now without any assistance. I spoke to a lady on Friday as I wanted to know why Discovery is not paying for the blood tests that I've done, after I've been informed that I have a pathology benefit on my plan. The lady checked if the pathologists that I've used are on the discovery network and she saw that they are. She said that she would get back to me, I'm still waiting. I sent proof of payment for all out of pocket payments I've had to make to cover the self-payment gap. The latest statement I sent was in Friday, which was R1250 that I paid. This amount is not reflected. I'm ill and cannot get my medicine as I have to pay R800 out of pocket, if the amount that I've paid already was reflecting, I would have been above the threshold and able to get my medication. I received an email on Fiday after I submitted proof of payment: The reference number is: 2981842685. No one called me to follow-up. I called this morning for the umpteenth time and asked the consulant to call me back as I didnt have enough airtime. No one called back.
