My name is Maureen Mndau, I fell pregnant last year and I could not afford to pay my medical aid premiums whilst on martenity leave. So I could not honor my payments for Discovery for 2 months. I did get a call from Discovery to say that my account was in arrears and I did try to explain my situation but no one listened.

I made plans to pay off the account and I was not told that my Discovery account had been handed over to ITC and also made other arrangements to pay ITC for the Discovery account. Now ITC took R1000 from my account on the 20th of November and to my dismay Discovery also took out R1899 from my Account. I asked for one of the accounts to be closed and it was discussed that Discovery should close the account and let ITC handle it going forward. I requested a refund be done on the Discovery account as I feel that I cannot be debited twice for the same issue. I am being robbed by Discovery and they are not willing or attempting to resolve the Issue. I have been dealing with Lyal Butler from Discovery. tel: 011529 5871 billing services.
