Discovery Health Taken Off Consultations from my M

To whom it may concern,

I went to my Psychiatrist today asking why my visits are being deducted from my MSA, he claimed that this is against the law as they have received An Application for out-of-hospital management of a prescribed Minimum Benefit condition.

I was diagnosed with Bi-Polar Mood disorder and the letter was faxed to Discovery on 12.06.2013 at 11h45 requesting me to get 10 visits a year to any Psychiatrist or Psychologist.

On 11 June 2013 an amount of R1110.10 was deducted from my MSA for a visit to my Psychiatrist Dr. HHJ Kahler.

When I noticed this I stopped making any appointments as I don't want to deplete my savings account for in case.

I have stopped myself from going to visits which is to my detriment in the end my personal condition has worsened as I can't go to my Psychologist to talk about things and have to keep all the hidden anger, thus meaning that Dr. Kahler had to increase my medication again.

I'm trying to get off my medication not get it increased
