You will never be able to get hold of Medicross Rustenburg on your first attempt to phone. Once you do get answer - the doctor is almost fully booked for the day. Then reception has a bad attitude if you do complain about their bad telephone service. I had a baby in Dec 2012 of which I received the first account two months ago for R1 200 outstanding since the medical aid was exhausted. I paid of R50 and my attorney will arrange for the rest since we are under dept-review. My medical aid is not exhausted now and therefor we can see the doctor as usual and they will be paid - since we also do not have any outstanding accounts for the hole of 2013. Today, I had an emergency visit there since my 4 year old fell at school and broke her nose, they refused to help me before we pay the full account and I must pay the consultation must be paid for cash. But I still have funds in my medical aid? Also they make you sign a document in reception (almost like a blank cheque) and therefor I now have issues with a year old account for stuff charged which I am not willing to pay. BAD service - bad attitudes from the reception and the accounts department - but good doctors!
