Requested a reversal of a claim that discovery has proceeded out of my above threshold benefit - and for this claim to be re-processed. They then paid R555.59 out to me in error (why?). I now have to pay this money back, which is 100%, HOWEVER, not one apology for the inconvenience this is causing me! It is going to cost me money to EFT money back to Discovery from my savings account. WHO IS GOING TO PAY FOR THAT? It is going to cost me extra money in MB to go online and make this EFT. WHO IS GOING TO PAY FOR THAT?
I requested a letter from discovery explaining WHY this error was made, received the letter today from Jenesse Dorasamy (pasted below). This does not address AT ALL what i asked. I want in writing a FULL explanation of why this happened as YOUR MISTAKE is now leading ONCE AGAIN to more admin/time/expense on my side to sort it out. Also no banking details? I asked for it! Kindly note this letter is to confirm that you a clawback of R555.59. The claim was for the dentist (claim reference: 3MQtK1), this claim was reverse resulting in payment being paid to you, so the money paid to you needs to be paid back to the scheme
