Where does the buck stop

My Mother Mrs VL Cook has been a member in her own right of the AECI Medicalaid scheme since 2002 when my Father past away. What the medical aid should have taken note of is that they paid for a hearing aid for her left ear and her right ear. Communicating over the telephone for her is an extremely frustrating experience for herself as well as the person on the otherside of the phone line. Hence she requested my sister to contact the medical aid over a query pertaining to Knee replacement. Her query pertains to what is covered by the medical aid with regard to what will be covered and what will not be covered by the scheme. She has already been requested to make a payment of approximately R33000-00. This sort of request puts most people into a defensive sort of mode given the which occur in this country on a regular basis. Is there someone at Medscheme willing to assist
