I downgraded my health plan last week because of changes in my employment conditions.

Only when I tried to get my medication at the pharmacy did I realise that the new option has no Above Threshold benefit. This was 100% my error as I should have read the plan details better.

Changing option also meant that there was a "claw back" amount. I thought that it was included with the amount deducted from my account on 1 October, but it was deducted yesterday from the account where the refunds are normally paid in - the debit order was returned as their was not enough money in it to cover the debit order amount.

I called the call centre and spoke with Lyndi and explained the situation to her, and asked if there was any possibility to cancel the downgrade and go back to the previous option.

Lyndi discussed it with one of the advisors and the decision was made that they will cancel the downgrade.

I am really grateful for this. And, remember, it was my mistake and they did not have to assist me with this.
