On Monday 21 Jan I went on the Vitality Mall website to purchase a voucher. I purchased a R1000 voucher and noticed my balance did not reflect with a new amount. I phoned to enquire if the transaction had been successful, it had been. I requested if a manual purchase could be done as I wanted to use the balance of my miles to purchase a voucher ( /-R490). I was advised this could not be done. I then asked if I should purchase 2x R200 vouchers. I was advised that this should not be done on the same day as if would reflect as a duplicate transaction and the original purchase would be voided. I kindly asked for my original purchase to be cancelled and my miles refunded so I could purchase 7 x R200 vouchers as this was the only way I could reach my desired total.
After several emails and phone calls, I am still waiting for my miles to be refunded. I do not understand how a simple reversal can take over a week to complete.
