Double debit order collections errors

Hi,

On the 25th of September fedhealth collected my monthly debit order twice, on the 26th, one was reversed. I assumed that it was a collections error but it was corrected the next day so wasn't stressed.

Today I received an email notifying me that my membership has been suspended due to a debit order being returned, but that is incorrect. No debit order was returned, they collected twice and reversed on their own.

I find it shocking that they have the arrogance to cancel my membership when they have clearly made the deduction error. Their call centre confirmed that there is a "error" with collections on the 25th between them and Nedbank where clients were double debited.

I don't mind mistakes but to then blame me for their incompetent collections department and then suspend my membership when as per my bank statement they are sitting with my money is unacceptable.
