I am an Active Member of Fedhealth Medical Scheme from 1 May 2012. I cancelled my Membership because my Employer provides Medical Aid. I contacted Fedhealth to inform them of my Cancellation and agreed to the Terms of Paying the last Contribution for the Month of August 2013. I informed them that I changed Banking Details and because of that, I will deposit the Funds Electronically. I transferred the Amount for the last Contribution and phoned to confirm the Payment. The 3rd of September 2013, they still Debited the Bank Account from where the Other Contributions were made. Since I do not use this Account any longer, the Account went in excess. I informed Fedhealth. Meanwhile interest and Bank Fees piled up on my Bank Account. I informed the Bank of this Wrong Debit. A Fedhealth Consultant returned my call and assured the Debit will be reversed. The monies returned in my Account and Fedhealth Credited my Bank Account. Meaning the Contribution is STILL outstanding. I received a message that Contributions were not received and Past Claims will be Reversed if I do not Settle the Funds. I have never had issues with Credit Providers and I know how harming a bad Credit Profile can be.
