We have had endless problems with Fedhealth, this has by far been the worst experience I have ever had in dealing with any medical aid. From the beginning there has been endless problems with their billing, where they don't debit our cheque account for the monthly contribution, and they then double debit the account the next month. We have spoken to various people to try and sort this out, and we were under the impression that everything was sorted out. My husband had to go for cataract surgery on the 8th of October 2013, the procedure was pre-authorised by Fedhealth, and the claim was paid. To my horror, I just received a bill from the opthalmologist advising that the claim was reversed, as "we left the scheme in September 2013." I went back on my husband's cheque account, and discovered that Fedhealth made a double deduction in September 2013, but one payment was then reversed by them. After September 2013 Fedhealth made no submission for a debit order deduction, not in October or any of the months following, even though neither me nor my husband cancelled the medical aid. This is totally ridiculous, please rectify this and call me ASAP.
