Shoddy treatment at alleged 5* establishement

We booked for a Bachelorette on the 14/08/13 at the DAvinci in Sandton.

We informed the individual who confirmed the booking that is would be a bachelorette and she confirmed this.

We were given the Leonardo room which is next to the reception area.

By the nature of the even being a bachelorette is was loud and there was adult entertainment.

Numerous times during the event I was called out and threatened with expulsion due to the volume and the fact that our event was ruining the image of the hotel. This was done in a condescending manner and non customer friendly manner.

Furthermore after this talking down to, the drinks that we ordered were suddenly out of stock and there was a shortage of glasses at this 5*establishment!

In future when booking an event they should not be so happy to take our money and then come with rules and regulations on the day of the event.

Errors done by managent or employees should not be put on thr shoulders of paying guests. If one does not have the facilities to host such events then clearly state this and not mislead the public.

Was utterly disgusted with the manner in which we are treated.
