Surprise birthday party-not enough food for guests

I have planned this surprise party since Feb'13 for my father turning 80.Heidi representing Water on Walldrift guesthouse approached me as to arrange this event from food to venue. She assured me of her professionalism, doing this kind of event planning several times before. I also contacted the owner Martina, she assured me to know Heidi but could not tell me anything more? After R12000 spent on this event paid directly to Heidi all was settled from my side. However on the day of the function, she forgot to buy the champagne & had to borrow my credit card! Worst being when the guest had to dish, there was 10 people left with no food as she failed to make enough food for the 43 confirmed & pd for! Whilst on the day only 36 arrived, still not enough food available! She then rushed to buy pork (we confirmed lamb&beef portions not pork) at a regular open shop - which was horrible & the guest clearly did not enjoy - this only 30 minutes later. This has certainly spoiled the event &was a total embarrassment! She also had her 11year old soon making up alcoholic drinks to guests ordering at the bar! How unproffesional!! Please all be aware of this poor event planner!
