Booking cancelled without notification

I booked a table at Greek Easy in Boardwalk in Pretoria for an important event. I received a sms very shortly prior to the event saying that Greek Easy has been taken over by new owners. No indication has been given that the booking is not intact and no additional contact details have been given with the message. I drove to the restaurant and it was closed without any notice. I had to move the event (formal invitations have already been sent to the guests) a day prior to the event, making my company look extremely unprofessional. In such a situation, I believe that you contact the people who booked and notify them that all events have been cancelled. Extremely disappointed and left with a mountain of admin a day prior to an event, thanks to your incompetence to a smooth transition of owners. Good luck
