Wow, what a shocker. My wife received a call from a lawyer who';s calling on behalf of their client MEDICROSS TOKAI (NETCARE). Stating that she needs to pay an amount of R5000 before 20th of this month to avoid being listed. This dental Operation happened in October 2009 and we have been informed on numerous occasions that this will be submitted to her medical aid (Discovery Coastal Saver) and all should be sorted. The lawyer informed my wife that as per her records she went for the Operation July 2012 (keep in mind we moved residence from that area December 2011) to top it off we received no letters, e-mails or telephonic correspondence since 2009 stating that she owes an amount.
The attorney informed her that she can go an fight this in court but she is currently on Maternity leave looking after our 2 month son.
What a disappointment, because staff decided to submit the claim in 2012 (which is my conclusion) which of course med aid rejected.
And to think I referred my wife to this dentist (Dr MD Christian),
YOU GUYS ARE SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT
