Incompetence of Accounts staff

A payment was allocated on my husbands name instead of my son's. I corrected this for the admin team in May 2013, and they allocated the payment correctly. They all of a sudden had a wake up call and realised that there was an outstanding amount of R255.00 on my husbands name. I refused to pay the amount as the claim was already stale according to my medical aid, and now I have to pay for Medicross' negligence. Emails were doing the fly around for about a month, and on 04 June 2013 Estelle Serfontein from Medicross advised that the account would be written off due to negligence on Medicross' side. I left the matter. Took my son to the doctor in July 2013, where admin advised me there was a R255.00 outstanding. Again I emailed Estelle to query why the write off was not done as yet. Now, out of the blue, she advised that I am liable for the account. I pay R6000.00 for medical aid a month, WHY SHOULD I PAY MY CLAIMS TOO DUE TO NEGLIGENCE OF YOUR INCOMPETENT STAFF. From December to May 2013 (when I queried) i HAVE NOT received ANY FORM OF COMMUNICATION stating that I owe anything. If I knew about your incompetence in April I would have submitted the claim MYSELF!!!
