WANT ME TO PAY FOR THEIR ERROR

Last year Discovery in error put a claim for K-Dental of R10 000-00 through our medical aid. The reversal was done, however we received a bill dated 13 December 2012 advising that we owe the amount of R1551.18. I send a e-mail on Tuesday. Yesterday I called the call centre as my e-mail was ignored. I spoke to a very help full consultant (can't remember his name). He advise me that because of the error done by you our self payment gab opened and that we need to pay R1551.18 in cash in order to rectify our self payment gab. I asked him that how on earth must we be held responsible for a error that the medical aid have done. His answer to me was: " Thant if we don't pay this will affect our amounts to be claimed, and that they can't reverse". I am not willing to pay money out form my pocket for a error done by the staff of Discovery.
I need a Senior to contact me and advise how you will fix this without me paying monies. This is very sad that in this day and age and technology a reversal can't be done and that the member must be held responsible for a error on the medical aid's side. I AM SHOCKED TO SAY THE LEAST!!!
