International claim denied

My boy fell into a fence in Whk, Namibia on 21.06.13, while on vacation. We paid cash (R1 219.71) and Medi Clinic Whk said we just need to admit the claim once back in CT. I faxed the claim on 09.07.13, back at home. I heard nothing for a month, although their return mail confirmed somebody would contact me within 3 working days. I called again on 02.08.13. Were told by Discovery there is add. docs to be send, which I faxed on 08.08.13. Heard nothing for almost a month again, phoned today to hear they are not paying the claim because it falls within the 150 US dollar international benefit, & therefore for our own pocket, because my boy was not admitted!! Namibia's dollar has got exactly the same value as the SA Rand! What has it got to do with the US dollar? Surely there is merits for each claim? We are paying R3 539.00 p.m and hardly ever claim! Where does it leave me than to cancel this money making scheme medical aid? Quick to take their contribution every month, but denying our 1st real claim submitted. Next time I will know better than to have my child admitted & cost them more money if this is their attitude. I am disgusted - taking the amount we are paying p.m.!
