Claims not being processed

My husband was in hospital on 8/8/ 2013 for a knee arthroscopy. I received pre auth and was told to pay co-payment of R2500 which I paid. We were also advised that the surgeon was not in the network and we would be liable for shortfalls. When I received the bill for surgeon, I forwarded same to claims so they could pay their portion. I waited patiently and checked the status a few days later on line where I saw zero paid. I was shocked as I had pre authorisation. Then it hit me that the date captured was reflecting 6/8/2013. At first I thought Bonitas were wrong and called them to complain. I realised while talking to the gentleman that the doctors statement had the incorrect date. I apologised and said I would get an amended one and re-send.
I have done this. I sent an amended one with the explanation email on thursday morning last week. I have yet to receive confirmation that it has been received or being processed. I checked online and it still does not reflect there either.
Please can someone tell me if it has been received or not. I need to know what is being paid so I can arrange payment of shortfall.
