Demand fo payment which occurred months ago

On the 8th of May I sent proof of payment to a credit clerk at Ampath indicating that I had made a mistake with the reference numbers. I sent screen shots taken from my online banking system to show that I had mistakenly swapped references numbers around. Since then I have received several calls, emails and an ITC notification regarding this account. I repeatedly send through the details, but their mail system blocks emails with attachments. I received an email saying the matter was resolved and a month later another message of demand. I have been dealing with two people; neither of them seem authorised or capable of rectifying this error. I receive emails and messages requesting me to call them, since they call when I am in meetings - I have done that months ago. I cannot see the point of wasting my money when they are not able to resolve this matter.
