Discovery not paying what they indicate

I have been with Discovery for many years and never had a problem, until now.
I went for a operation in July, I sent all the documentation to Discovery and the quotes. It was for dental. Discovery indicated that I would not need authorization as it is dental and not severe, but they gave me a reference number for the surgeon to book the operation. They told me that anything that happens in the consulting room will come out of my savings account and what happens in the theater they will pay. Now afterwards, they did not pay even half of the theater's claim. I have been trying for a month now to find out why, every time there is a different story. They told me the codes must come off my savings account, which is not what they said before, then they said some of the codes were suppose to be paid, but they dont know why, they will resend it to the claims department. Then they said the codes indicate it was done in a consulting room, which I corrected them again, as some of the codes were, but the ones I am asking about were in the theater. I just can't seem to get an answer. I am very dissapointed in Discovery and will cancel my medical there.
