I have cancelled my medical insurance with Bonitas Medical health due to me working outside South Africa. I received a letter from Dr Taljaard (Paediatritian) in regards to a small amount of money (R239) owed to me for a claim submitted through them. I enquired about this from Bonitas as I received a statement from Bonitas that clearly state this amount on their records as per the statement send to me by Dr Taljaard's office. After numerous emails I constantly get the same email response from Bonitas asking me the same questions, I have included the statements on my emails and complied to their request in regarding to the changing of my bank, Id and letter of proof of changing of the bank (this is after I have already cancelled with Bonitas) - they never informed me that they owe me money I had to find out via a third party- at .service from Bonitas in this regard - the money won't change my life but it has become a matter of principle - that they don't communicate and/or read their emails - this has been going on since - 15 July - pathetic.
