Handed over to lawyers without my knowledge

In August 2012, I was admitted at Robbinson Life hospital in Randfontein for only 6hours. My medical aid was billed and I paid all emergency consultation fees. I was later called and informed that the medical aid (Bonitas) didnt pay, and the accout was privatized and I paid cash. I paid R300 emergency fee, R790 consultation fee, about R1000 for blood tests, and all CASH. Last week I received a letter of demand from lawyers, claiming that I owe more than a thousand for xrays that were taken without my knowledge and consent. I had an intestinal pain, but was never diagnosed or treated for anything. I never received any statements, phone calls or smses regarding the xray acc. The next thing I receive a letter from lawyers, threatening my credit record as well. I didnt even sign for those services. When I called Dr Schutte's offices, I was sent from pillar to post, with endless promises that the statements would be emailed. They claim to have called me last year on my number, but the cell number thats on their system I only started using it this year. I NEED THIS ACCOUNT REVERSED TO DR SCHUTTE so that I pay them directly. I cant be handed over to lawyers UNFAIRLY for medical expenses. This is absurd.
