My partner Bruce Myrdal was admitted to Milnerton Medi Clinic for 8 days which is a private hospital with a good reputation. When allowed clear fluids he got oversalted clear "soup" which was a stock cube, oversweet jelly which he could not eat. when he could have soft foods, he asked for a soft poached egg twice and got rock hard fried eggs. He complained all the time, the unit manageress came to assure him daily that they would get it right. When he wrote the recipe down on how to boil a 5min egg it arrived microwaved with a yolk that powdered. The spaghetti bolonaise was not edible, he asked her if she would eat it as not even our dogs would. In the end I had to get a friend to buy food outside for him.
I have since heard a lot of complaints regarding that catering company.
