Biggest disappointment moving to Discovery Health

After many years of good service and medical cover from Liberty Life hospital plan, I was convinced to move to Discovery Health, Coastal Core plan. What a bad error in judgement.
I have paid my membership for the past 14 months, then had a spinal stabilization operation. The broker for DH emphatically stated, on a number of occasions, DH ALWAYS re-inburse costs at the rate of medical aid rates plus 10% - what a suprise, the compensation paid out is approximately 24 % BEL: OW medical aid rate. Furthermore, DH in their wisdom, pay what is due to the member, by cheque - in this day and age??? the cheque is sent by post - now I must wait 6 weeks, as I requested, upon being informed of the chegue payment via email, that the cheque be stopped and EFT payment be effected. What an absolute dissappointment, to be told by claims department managers (two different people, on two different occasions), now I am told they mis-informed me, as EFT payment was stated to be 3 to 5 days.
I can most certainly NOT recommend this medical cover to any prospective person person, looking - please evaluate very carefully.
