It has been 10 working days since I first called Discovery Health to query why my claims were not being paid to me. I have STILL not received any money from them.

As I am on maternity leave and not receiving my salary anymore, I was late to pay my monthly membership installments to Discovery as the debits just ran and I forgot to ensure money was in my account for this. This has been rectified and paid up a while ago.

I first called on Monday 24 July and was promised the clawback would be removed by Wednesday and the money in my account by Friday, and that they would call me back to keep me in the loop. It is now the following Friday and I have called back almost daily since then, and been made countless promises that I would be called out and paid in a couple of days, but after probably at least 2 hours in hold in the past few days (and emailing my complaint), I was told on Wednesday that they would START the process of fixing this error.

This is totally unacceptable, and despite many polite requests and even tears, I am still waiting for my claims from 1 April to date to be paid. As are some health practitioners, who are now threatening to blacklist me.

So disappointed.
