Refusal to Process Claim

I recently submitted a claim to Spectramed for a doctor's visit at NHC. They refused to submit this claim as NHC had incorrectly printed a 5 instead of a 6 at the beginning of my medical aid number on the invoice. My full ID number appears on the document and on my medical aid card and yet they refuse to settle this. They claim to be all about customer service but showed a complete lack thereof when handling the above. I am really disgusted as this is the first time since being with them for over 4 years that I have personally tried to submit a claim.
