Why is it that Bankmed manage to mess up every single claim I submit? In a 3 month period, I have submitted 3 claims, all of which were processed incorrectly. They either process the account from savings, when I should have a benefit for it, or they reject the claim, because I didn't obtain authorisation (I have a telephone conversation proving that I did call for authorisation and was told I didn't require it). I am just so sick of having to check their work. Every time I submit a claim, I find myself going onto the website to check whether it was processed correctly, and 9 times out of 10, it was not. I then have to wait 2 - 3 weeks for them to correct it. Why do I have to check THEIR WORK, and then have to wait an insane amount of time for them to correct their mess? If I submit another claim that gets processed incorrectly, I will definitely look for another Medical Aid. They take my money every month and cannot even deliver on a few simple claims. Utterly disgusted.
