Dangerously incompetent

My girlfriend took her daughter Chanteleigh Smit to Trichardt Hydromed on the evening of the 14 June 2013 for high fever, head and leg pains and reaching. The doctor on duty at the time was Dr J. Mahlangu. Many tests including blood, CT scan, etc were done. Chanteleigh's allergic for penicillin.
A prescription was given for Argmentin ES 600, Lacteol Forte and Mybuten. We got the meds and started with the recommended dosages. Today, 16 June 2013, we went to the pharmacy to get more meds as the first was given by Hydromed. The pharmacist we went to asked us why did they give Augmentin to someone who is allergic to penicillin. This made us mad as on the script there was written penicillin in the allergy, Dr J. Mahlangu was well aware of the allergy, but still prescribed an antibiotics containing Augmentin.
I would also like to know where a matter like this can be taken as I feel doctors like this should not be allowed to practice. I myself have for many years gone directly to pharmacist as I don't trust many doctors and have experienced and witnessed the incompetency on numerous occasions.
