I have made payments to Discovery Health for the entire year and sent through the necessary proof of payments to my financial adviser David Te Brake who deals with Discovery on my behalf. He submitted this information to Discovery Health months ago. However due to their lack of competence in the finance department they did not make a record of the payments and debited money from my account (R1806.00) on the 26th of May 2013. I then queried it with my financial adviser who forwarded me the feedback that Discovery Health sent to him stating that the error could only be rectified after 7 working days from the date of the debit order. Thereafter both myself and my adviser awaited further feedback from them which we did not recieve and when we queried this we recieved a reply that did not make sense. It has now been two weeks since the debit order went off and my money has still not been returned to me. I am unable to understand why I must suffer at the hands of an incompetent finance department. Serious action needs to be taken as this is unacceptable. I will not tolerate being treated like this after I have paid them for the full year in advance.
