Good Day
I have been liaising with Discovery Medical Aid on behalf of my dad- who is on the Keycare plus (we are also members of Discovery medical aid)
My dad was hospitalised in (26 to 28) Nov 2012 The initial authorisation was general ward - upon my dad being admittted - he was placed in High Care, at Castenhoff clinic based on his condition - another authorisation was done and he was placed here for 3 days.
The case manager had done the authorisation for all three days- however Discovery has declined the last day 28 Nov - now my dad a pensioner is requested to pay R6000.
I have Provided all the relevant information to the call centre agents since April and now is June nothing is resolved. My dad spoke to a supervisor Trevor Richard who assured him he will come back to him -NOTHING - spoken to another supervisor Phiwe- no response recieved. Appalling service- I have all the reference numbers of the many call (each call /- 1 hour at our cost and inconvenience). I have provided Discovery the actual screen dumps for the approval of the High care - with the reference details - and contact details of the case manager Monica - but to no avail.
