Delay on hospital Authorisation

A couple of months ago my mother went to see a specialist who advised that she needs to remove her gall bladder. To date the specialist is still waiting for authorisation, Discovery are quick to act when it comes to premium collection but look for loop holes and exclusions when it comes to backing the patient. Currently discovery are sending forms to a doctor my mother has never been a patient of, when I requested that they contact her to get the correct doctors details the email Discovery sent was "
Reference number: 2963513598 "The Discovery Health new business escalations department does not have the capacity to make outgoing calls at the moment." Shocking Discovery!! We have been battling with this since May 2013 it is now Aug 2013. If my mothers Gall bladder burst will Discovery care then!
