Inconsistencies with information provided

Good day

I was on the phone with Medshield from 12:15 until 12:40. When you call the call centre for a pre authorisation for ongoing treatment you get different information every time. I had to get a pre auth in Dec and that was a battle, now in January I need another auth for the same procedure and I am told over and above the form I need a motivation letter from the doctor.

Why do colleagues give different information when it suits them? This is frustrating for the member as you do not know what version is the truth.

Each time you call you need to fight and insist on talking to a team leader who is always conveniently in a meeting.
