Medshield changing rules every yea

I am due for an operation on my left hand for prosteses in the fingers. 2 Year ago Dr Wells, Panorama Hospital did a excellent job on my right hand, Medshield pay everything except for R6000.00 that we did. We are pensioners and now that the left hand must be done, Medshield haven't give authorisation yet. Panorama Hospital phoned me and said that we must pay a deposit of R80, 000.00 because Medshield did not pay the accounts in full but only 3O% of it. Why did they pay the previous operation in full and now they are not prepared to help the member. This is the second time in my life that I need to ask for help from them, paying them for 4O years. Panorama said they are no longer dealing with Medshield. This is the only doctor that can do this job, how do you know that they will pay you back if I pay the account in full?
