Nobody knows the proper procedure

I fell pregnant last year, my GP refered me to my gynie and i was issued with an auth code. now this year it appears the policy changed for 2013. I need to go for my second appointment but im switching gynies so i need a new auth code. called the call centre was advised to go back to my GP to get him to complete a specialist form again to get a new auth code for my new gynie. i did that and the GP advised they dont need the form again, as the poliy changed for 2013. back to the contact centre spoke to 3 different call centre agents all telling me they need this form to give me a auth code. why am i being sent from pillar to post and why cant i get the proper information from the agents themselves. my GP knows more. please can someone assist me with the proper information as my appointment is tomorrow and ive wasted a month trying to get this matter resolved.what now?
