Good day,

I am extremely upset.

I requested an authorization for my daughter Kate to go to the paediatrician in the middle of April. My new Keycare GP was not loaded yet and was to be activated on the 1st of May. On the 3rd of May I phone Discovery to ask if it has been resubmitted as DR Greeff was now loaded on the system as my Keycare GP. It had not but I was promised it would be done.

Only on Tuesday the 7th of May did I receive a vague sms stating you require additional information. I had to phone you to find out what the problem was. I then arranged with the GP to correct the problem and resend the form on the 8th of May.

I am told by the call centre that it was referred to the pediatric board on the 9th Of May. I have made several phone calls from the 10th up to today, and I have used up all my airtime which is why I am now sending an email in desperation.

Everytime I phone I am told it is within the turn around time of 3 days, which it definitely is not. And then promises are made that follow up will be done and I will be phoned back. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ONE PHONE CALL.
