I phoned the call centre this morning at 7h10 about my card which was frozen due to FICA documentation outstanding. Ramaan was very professional and promised that he would follow up and respond before 9am. He phoned me at 8h40 to say that the issue was resolved and my card unfrozen. I even tested to make double sure. THanks very much to him. Next time I phone the call centre, i'll ask for him.

HOWEVER: this report is not without complaints.
1) I couldn't make a purchase suddenly, and received an sms to contact discovery due to outstanding documentation. Discovery never phoned me to follow up.
2) I gave in all my FICA documentation as requested by Discovery when my card was delivered.
3) I phoned the call centre twice yesterday, and was made promises that weren't kept. THey even said I must phone them back as they cannot phone out
4) THe one phone call I was asked to re-submit documentation to have card activated urgently (which I did yesterday). It wasn't activated even though I submitted it quickly.
5) I had to phone again this morning to chase discovery up. At least I got hold of someone who was able to assist and was able to phone back (without pt 3 excuse)
