Dear Hello Peter

After reading Sony's response to my email, i read Sony's reports and responses to many complaints. It seem that Sony is determined to defend their product, where they are not willing to sell the defect they have out on the market at a reduced price or recall the rubbish they sell from the market.

To expect a customer to fix problems they clearly knew that came with the manufacturing is typical lack of business ethics we have to deal with in South Africa. Sony is just one of them

I have come on from a Sony Mobile PR stand point to assist you with your complaint posted on Hellopeter.

Smartphones such as the Sony Xperia go utilise a lot battery to run all the applications on the phone. All smartphones in the market today suffer from the same fate which is that battery life gets drained fairly quickly.

Our call centre advised that you disable some of the apps to save the battery life. What you can also do is download 'Advanced Task Killer' from the PLAY Market, this apps lets you design which apps should be turned off when the phone is on standby mode.
