No parts for 2 year old Samsung Series 6 32" LED

Bought a Samsung Series 6 32" LED TV with warranty about 2 years ago. The warranty has just expired. I had a power surge in my area and main board blew, according to Computer Repair Technologies, also according to them TV is now absolutely useless because Samsung do not stock parts for this 2 year old model.
I have always been a loyal supporter of Samsung for their amazing screensmonitors, but I won't be buying anything Samsung after hearing this.
I must now shell out another R6000 odd for another Flat Screen TV to replace the old one, I am beyond irritated with this AM service. Why should I pay top dollar for a TV that is virtually irreparable?
Time to go LG.
