I bought a Samsung dishwasher on 21.07.2010 &I expected nothing but the best from Samsung. 1&half year later the door panel started giving me issues. I was unable to close it at times. When I attempted to log a call I didn't have my documentation as proof & set off to find my receipt. As this was an intermittent issue I forgot about it & eventually the door got worst just after the 2 year anniversary & i eventually got receipt & logged a service request with the contact centre. I explicitly advised the agent that the hinge was giving me issues while under warranty & I requested a fix under warranty conditions since hinges rusting after 1year of occasional use in my opinion is unacceptable for a Samsung dishwasher. With diagnosis confirming 2 hinges needed to be replaced as well as inside panel the request was closed with remark -OUT OF WARRANTY. On the 2 occasions I contacted the contact centre I was promised that a supervisor would call me so I can state my case. I'm still waiting... While admit & understand the machine is out of warranty, is that as far that Samsung is willing to go when it comes to customer service? 2years & digitally you're on your own! Do i buy Samsung again?
