READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY ANY SAMSUNG PRODUCT!!!

My Samsung Washer/Dryer combo packed up while still under warranty!! I have reported this at Metro Home Centre in Pretoria (where I bought it) and they in turn notified Pro Lad Electronics (Samsung's service centre in Claremont, Pretoria) about my problem. After NUMEROUS telephone calls (Pro Lad always promise to return your call but just NEVER do so!) I got someone to come and "fix" my problem. After 2 attemps to "fix" this appliance and after more than a month has passed since I have reported this problem for the first time, I still have a useless washer/dryer. I know Samsung is not going to do ANYTHING about my situation - just like they did with my air-conditioner and dishwasher. As I write this, my washer/dryer is still not fixed and I have NO idea how long it will still take to resolve this! And I will get the same automated response on this site (as with my aircon and dishwasher!) and then NOTHING after that. PLEASE reconsider before you buy any Samsung product!!! They offer you a very good warranty, BUT IT MEANS NOTHING! Good luck to anyone that tries to get any Samsung appliance fixed within the warranty period!!! I am done with Samsung for good.
