32" LEDTV Sound

Bought a 32" Sinotec LED LCD from Game in August.

Straight away, I was very impressed with the unit, the ease with which it reads USB media, the formats that it reads, everything. The only thing that really shows the reason for its lower price, was the sound from the built-in speakers. Terrible beyond words. I was not too bothered, as I would be using external speakers anyway, but then found that the 3.5mm stereo audio output jack has a nasty buzz on it.

The only way to use the TV is to set the external amplifier to 1/10 voume, and turn the TV up to 90/100. This almost eliminates the buzz, but it also increases the risk of distortion, so it's still not pleasant at all. I thought that it might be a grounding issue with my setup, but this was not the case (it probably is, but INSIDE the TV).

Please advise, I really do not want to go back to Game and sit without a television for weeks.
