Sinotec
Very Poor Sound Quality

Electronics and household app.
I bought a new Sinotec LEDTV about a month ago at Makro PE.
I use it mainly to watch movies and from the very start I was VERY disappointed with the poor sound quality.
At first I thought it might not be properly set, but after trying every single sound option the "Movie" setting was the best of the lot, but still appalling. There's constant irritating scratches even with volume below 30.
Now just to set the scene, my previous TV was a very cheap small Chinese tv with a name I've never seen, but its sound was much better than this one's.
The reason I chose this TV above the LG, Samsung or Hisense is that:
1) It, unlike anything else offers a 5 year guarantee.
2) Is significantly cheaper
3) Looked and sounded just as good in the shop - I admit that i'm at fault here, there were speakers connected and I didn't disconnect them to hear the true quality, nor did the salesman for that matter.
In the end I had to buy Extra speakers and the cheapest ones that were an improvement on the built in ones were R 900.
Just a tip for anyone else looking to buy a tv and don't want or have space for extra speakers, rather spend a couple hundred more on a Samsung or LG.
