Samsung stores selling incorrect information

Electronics and household app.

We bought a S6 HD/3D television from Samsung Clearwater. We purchased an extended warranty and was told by the sales person at the store that if anything technical is wrong with the TV we will get it replaced on the spot at the service centre in Constantia (at HIllfox). Soon we realised there is a problem with the sound on the television. We took it to the service centre on 30 September. They said they'll test it and get back to us. We waited the entire day but no one phoned. On 01 October my husband went to the service centre and they said the TV needs a new motherboard, they will order it. NO ONE phoned, we had to go there. When we asked about the replace on the spot policy, we were told no it has to be motivated first, then approved by head office etc etc!! So the sales person basically when we bought the TV. Seeing that we were going to be without a TV for 3 days we took the back and said please notify us when the parts are there. It's now 9 DAYS, and we still haven't heard from the service centre. Meanwhile we're stuck with a brand new R12 000 TV with horrible sound quality!!! Ridiculous service!! Plus, I do not want a new motherboard, I want the TV REPLACED
