I Lodged a complaint over 2 weeks ago and here is the feedback so far.

I phoned one of your recommended service guys in Alberton, Community Electronic Services and they collected my unit on 2 Sept 2013, they phoned be back once to ask again what is the problem but it is clearly written on the job card.

I phoned back again a few days later to get feedback and was told they will phone me back, again I phone a few days later and again I was told they will phone me back. Today 2 weeks later I phoned again asking an update and was told I must pay R4959 to have the panel replaced.

Emails was sent to Dean De Valle on 4 Sept and he responded 5 Sept to the repairs guys but no one informs me?

An Indian gent phoned me on 4 Sept telling me they are waiting for the response from the repairs guy as the panel is not made anymore but is sure that he will be able to assist. Still waiting.
NO!!! I paid 12K for this tv already and now another 5K... is this really the quality of your products Sony after only 4 years???

I mean really! If this is the type of pride that you put in your products, to only last 4 years, I will recommend all that I know to NOT buy any sony goods no matter what.
