LED TV FAULTY

Electronics and household app.

I was advised to purchase a Samsung LED TV as they were recommended as the best. I forked out R6399.00 for a 40" Series 5 LED TV just over 1 year and 8 months ago. I did not at that time have the extra R600 for an additional warranty, which NOW this TV comes with (2Yr).

This TV has now had a "CPU OR MAINBOARD CIRCUIT FAULT" which is now going to cost me another R2000!!!???

This is just unacceptable with a product that is supposed to be superior and is under 2 years old which has NO MOVING PARTS!! It was not due to power fluctuations but put down to component failure.

All we do as South Africans is seem to pay pay pay, this is not acceptable.

I would appreciate a call ASAP from a Samsung representative on how we move forward with this.
