Lightbulbs not lasting long

I wish to complain about the MR16 12V 5W GU5.3 LED lightbulbs. In December last year, I purchased 20 of these for about R120 per bulb. Over the past 5 months, I have had to exchange more than 10 of these bulbs as some of the bulbs become very dim after about a month of use. As an electrical engineer, I have tested the transformers in use and they are compliant (no electronic transformers). I also obtained 40 free Phillips LED bulbs from the Eskom Project Power Save and these work fine elsewhere in my house (with exactly the same transformer setup). I therefore have to wonder if the Ellies bulbs are of an inferior quality and feel that the hefty price tag I paid for them was not worth it. More than half of the bulbs are not lasting 3 months let alone the promised 25, 000 hours. I have wasted many hours going to Builders Warehouse exchanging them under your guarantee and would appreciate a refund. I have tried to speak to someone at your customer care line who blamed it on my transformers (without even finding out which transformers I am using) and said there is nothing else I can do.
